What we keep, and what we do not.

This site keeps your bag on your own device and nothing anywhere else. The shop keeps what you send it, for as long as it takes to serve you.

On this site

There are no accounts and no payments on the site. The bag is kept in your browser's storage, on your device, until you send the order or empty it; it never reaches us on its own. When you press Send, your own email program opens with the order or the request filled in; nothing reaches us until you send that email. The site sets no cookie of its own.

If the shop adds a visitor counter one day, a bar asks you first and the counter runs only after you allow it. Your answer is kept on your device. Today there is no counter.

When you order or ask

An email, a WhatsApp message or a call gives us your name, how to reach you, your address and what you want. We use them to answer you, to send the pieces and to take anything back. We keep an order's details for the time the tax law sets and nothing longer, we never sell or share them, and we add you to no list unless you ask to be on one.

Pictures and fonts

The pictures on this site load from Unsplash and the type from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, those services see the request the way any site you visit does: your address and the page that asked. We send them nothing else. The map link opens Google Maps, which has its own terms.

Your rights

Ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we do so within a week. Write to hello@sorrel.example.

About this page

Sorrel is an example boutique, made as a start for your own site. Its designers, pieces, prices and address are invented; replace this page with your own words before the site is yours.
